Founder and Managing Director of opportax
Florian brings many years of experience in international tax advisory within a Big Four environment, most recently as a Manager and authorized signatory at EY, as well as in senior roles within corporations such as Panasonic and Siemens Energy. He supports clients in precisely those situations that shape international tax matters – during relocations, in new roles, and in cross-border business decisions.
Florian structures complex tax matters in a way that provides a solid basis for decision-making – an approach that also defines his work as a lecturer in tax law. Having spent an extended period abroad in France, he understands the expat perspective and the associated challenges from first-hand experience.
opportax was founded with the ambition to offer tax advisory services as Florian would expect them himself – with the aim of making tax matters understandable, providing expats with clarity and confidence, and at the same time creating entrepreneurial flexibility for self-employed professionals.
